Every year, several times people find large pieces of gold. And these gold nuggets often require heavy machinery to detect.
Last September, a retired man in Australia dug up a 2.11 kg gold nugget, estimated to be worth more than 150,000 AUD (equivalent to more than 2.4 billion VND), using a new metal detector. This nugget was found in the northern Goldfield area.
Also in September last year, a Canadian gold mining company announced that it found 262kg of gold worth 11.5 million USD at the Beta Hunt mine, in the Goldfield area.
Therefore, many people are still flocking to the Goldfield area to find gold in the hope that luck will also come to them.
