Shelters for homeless animals are expensive to run, and their owners around the world are increasingly relying on the work of volunteers.
The three tiny kittens in today’s story came to these kind people.
The kittens needed very little care, they were clean and healthy. They just needed to be fed with a special syringe, bathed on time and kept warm and loved. After all, they had been left without their mother, the only loving being on the planet. The kittens missed the cat unbearably – crying, squealing, refusing to eat.
Unexpectedly, a husky named Lila, who lives in the house of volunteers, who were entrusted with the care of kittens, volunteered to replace the kittens’ mother. The dog has long been accustomed to the guests, the kids from the shelter constantly lived in the house. She always carefully studied the recruits, made some conclusions for herself, and silently went to her place.
But this time it was different. Lila took patronage over the triplets, apparently deciding to make real huskies out of them. She began to lick the little ones regularly, guarded their peace during sleep, did not let them escape from the designated place. Surprisingly, the kittens liked the care of a compassionate dog.
Leela’s owners laugh: that’s how it was all planned. They have long noticed the Husky’s interest in their little charges. They watched and waited for the dog’s maternal instinct to awaken. According to the owners, in the past, their pet has already taken part in volunteer work. Then she proved herself as a real professional.
As it turned out, once Lila helped the owners take care of one kitty. It was then that her talent woke up to take care of representatives of the feline family. Besides, Lila can’t have her puppies (the dog is sterilized). Perhaps that’s why she decided to adopt a cat baby.
It is worth noting that, in general, huskies are not very affectionate towards cats. There are frequent skirmishes between them, in which cats have little chance. Husky is a strong and cunning dog, capable of defeating even a wolf.
Surprisingly, at the same time, this breed is distinguished by the amazing love and tenderness in communicating with little children.
Husky fans say that there has not been a single case of a husky attack on a child in the world.
