A walk in the woods of Mr. Tomas Karlsson, a cartographer in Sweden, helped discover a large treasure trove from the Bronze Age, with many almost brand-new pieces of jewelry.
According to Ancient Origins, the lucky man initially thought he discovered… a pile of “waste”. However, he decided to notify the authorities according to regulations.

The jewelry in this treasure trove dates back 5-7 centuries, is exquisitely crafted with good materials so it still looks very beautiful, so has extremely high value, according to BBC.
“Most of the items are made of bronze, related to a woman of high status” – said Professor Johan Ling from the University of Gothenburg.

The treasure includes many exquisite necklaces, necklaces, pins, decorative objects… made by famous jewelers of ancient Scandinavia. They were buried deep in the soil, in a gap between two large rocks, but when Mr. Karlsson discovered it, it had been partially dug up, possibly by wild animals.
