In 1971, Rogelio Roxas found part of the treasure near Baguio City. That treasure was buried in underground rooms including many boxes containing gold bars and Buddha statues made from 20 carat pure gold. Afterwards, Philippine President Ferdinand Marcos ordered all treasures confiscated and hidden in a special vault. Mr. Roxas filed a lawsuit and received a huge reward of 22 billion USD for finding the above giant treasure. However, this treasure hunter did not agree with the above reward amount so he continued to sue the government.
