An elderly dog looks longingly at the door of the shelter every day

An elderly dog turned out to be in a shelter, and this situation was extremely unusual for her. The poor girl was modest and afraid of everything around her because she was used to living in a warm loving home…

A 13-year-old dog named Daisy from the UK ended up in a shelter. Her owner fell ill, could no longer take care of her, and handed over the pet to the RSPCA shelter. At first, Daisy was very modest and scared – she was used to living in a house, but suddenly she found herself in the walls of a shelter among dogs and strangers. It was very difficult for her to get used to the new conditions…

All the volunteers of the shelter took care of Daisy and did everything to make her feel safe and loved. Over time, she began to understand that she would not be offended here – and when she recovered, they began to look for owners for her. But a few months have passed, and Daisy has not found a home…

Apparently, because of her old age, many people do not want to take such a dog for themselves, but despite her age, Daisy is a wonderful creature full of energy. “It’s sad to see how an elderly dog spends these years of life in a shelter cage. She is a very sweet and loving dog. It is clear that the owners loved her very much, and Daisy will be a wonderful companion for her future family,” said one of the volunteers.

Although Daisy is 13 years old, sometimes she behaves like a perky puppy – she runs, plays with pleasure, and enjoys every day. She waits every day for people who will fall in love with her, at first sight, to come through the doors of the shelter. We wish this beauty to find loving owners as soon as possible. Be happy, Daisy!
