Mysterious treasure of 16 tons of gold buried in the desert but strangely disappeared

In the early 1930s, Mexican millionaire Leon Trabuco and several business partners purchased 16 tons of gold. Trabuco’s group decided to buy such a large amount of gold in the context of the United States falling into the Great Depression, causing the value of the USD to decrease. From that reality, Mr. Trabuco’s group decided to buy and store a large amount of gold to wait for the opportunity for prices to increase and then sell that gold for profit.

Because he did not immediately sell the 16 tons of gold treasure to wait for the price to increase, Mr. Trabuco and his business partners decided to bury them in the New Mexico desert. Later, the United States issued a law making private ownership of gold illegal, so Mr. Trabuco’s plan could not be implemented. Things became even more strange when one by one, Mr. Trabuco’s business partners and the millionaire himself passed away without leaving any clues as to the whereabouts of the 16-ton gold treasure.

For many years, experts and treasure hunters tried to find the location where Mr. Trabuco buried 16 tons of gold in the hope of changing his life. However, until now, the 16 tons of gold that Mr. Trabuco hid in the New Mexico desert remains “unaccounted for”. Where this gold is currently located is still a big unanswered mystery.

Not only the treasure of Mexican millionaires, Yamashita’s treasure also makes many people yearn to have it. This huge treasure was looted by the Japanese fascists from neighboring countries such as Malaysia, India, and Thailand during the period from the 1930s to the end of World War II. At that time, Yamashita was responsible for transporting all the booty to the Philippines before moving it to Japan.

However, Japan surrendered to its allies when the goods still stopped in the thousand-island country. Before being captured and hanged, Yamashita decided to have people divide and hide them in 172 different locations on the island, thinking that one day he would return here to get them back. Many sources say that this treasure is worth billions of dollars.

Sometime in the 70s, Rogelio Roxas found part of the treasure. Afterwards, Philippine President Ferdinand Marcos ordered all treasures confiscated and hidden in a special vault. Roxas filed a lawsuit and received a huge reward of 22 billion USD. However, he was still not satisfied and continued to complain.
