The Polyanka shelter in St. Petersburg helps animals in need. Often they send unwanted babies to them.
This happened recently: 7 puppies were brought to the shelter. They had previously been living on the street, abandoned by someone to their fate.
Naturally, without support and help they would not have survived, especially as it was already autumn, during the cold weather, with no experience of survival, they would definitely have been left out of the fate.
But they were brought to the shelter, warmed up and fed. The staff started nursing them back to health. All was not yet lost! The little ones began to get better, gain strength and become more joyful. There was a glimmer of hope in their eyes.
One doggie was named Peggy. The half of its muzzle was black, with speckles scattered all over its white body. Wasn’t it a lovely creature with a fluffy tummy?
That’s what Catherine thought of it. She and her family decided to adopt the puppy. At home they call it Yuki. Yuki’s siblings are also going home.
