A woman found this tramp in her shed. The stray cat was battered, sad, and very timid. She looked at the woman in fright, but with all her appearance she asked for help.
The battered cat was afraid to even approach people
Residents of the Canadian city of Quebec noticed a stray cat in their shed. She was shabby, looked sad, and looked timidly in the direction of people. The owner of the house immediately contacted the local Chatons Orphelins rescue center, whose employees went to get the cat.
The cat got the nickname Jeanne. The staff determined that she was about six months old, and she had never communicated with people so closely. She has been living on the street since birth – but the shelter staff decided to do everything to gain her trust and show her what true love is.
The cat was vaccinated and sterilized and then sent to a temporary detention facility. Next to people, Jeanne began to slowly become freer. It turned out that a kind, sensitive soul was hiding under a timid and modest creature. Jeanne took off her “armor” every day and felt more and more comfortable next to the volunteers.
Over time, she became more curious, began to explore the house, spend more time with her guardian and observe everything she does. The biggest surprise of the guardian was caused when Jeanne began to purr in response to the caress, and also to sleep next to her. These are significant signs that the cat has learned to trust!
Jeanne has turned into an affectionate, playful, and sweet girl who enjoys life every day and discovers new things for herself. For this beauty, they are already looking for permanent owners. Be happy, Jeanne!
